History of Sartén
During the colonization of the Philippines by Spain, many words were adopted and used in the Philippines' National language Tagalog and dialects like Visayan and Chavacano to name a few. When my mother was young and being cared for by my Great Grandmother in the 60s, she used to ask my mom to get her "sartén" in the kitchen referring to a tin coffee mug. Sartén literally means skillet in Spanish but I guess due to miseducation the word Sartén evolved from being a frying pan to a tin mug.
Who we are.
Sartén Café is a specialty cafe that has ADHD and symptoms of mild amnesia. :P
